Across the sandy and steep hills of the Roero, which have always been considered the cradle of great wines, is the Viano Michele winery, which for three generations has been linked to continuous research to obtain the highest quality results in the vineyard and in the cellar. Before Michele Viano, the current owner of the farm, two other persons started and developed the culture of grapevine and wine: Michele Gallo (maternal grandfather) and Carlo Viano (father). Today, as in the past, the farm bears witness to the splendid production capacities of the Langa and Roero. Precisely in Vezza d’Alba, in the heart of Roero, where the hills extend more majestically towards the sun, are the cellars of the farm that historically privileges the traditional varieties of the area: Arneis, Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo mature and refine in the cellar. Tradition and innovation; historicity and technology characterize the production in full respect of nature and man.
