Tenuta Ninemore is a family business with roots in the second half of the 19th century, in the historic Vallotai village, near Molinetto della Croda, when the Lorenzon lineage of winemakers became passionate about the cultivation of vines and the production of wine. Grandfather Desiderio Lorenzon, known as Nino, heir to this tradition linked to the land and its fruits, decided to take over the management of vineyards, owned by a Venetian count on the hills of Refrontolo, which he then bought over time. Those lands are today the heart of Tenuta Ninemore: they were handed down by grandfather Nino to his children, who take care of them every day. In recent years, the desire of the daughters and sisters to keep the family tradition alive and at the same time to enhance the uniqueness of their vines has emerged increasingly strong. From the grapes of the oldest vines they have created the line of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, in the Brut and Extra Dry variants and the glera Col Fondo, a traditional wine but reworked in a modern key. The over 50-year-old vineyards are located in Refrontolo in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area, recognized as a world heritage site.
