Immersed in the quiet of the hilly area of Bergamo, Valcalepio has welcomed the farm and has become its home. Here they founded a business made of family, natural rhythms and fertile soil. Full-bodied and sincere, like the character of their wines. Among the soft slopes of Grumello del Monte, at the foot of the San Pantaleone hill, in this extraordinary amphitheatre of rows as far as the eye can see, they have recovered an abandoned farmhouse and made it the hub of their entire activity. They dedicated it to their daughter Iris because, like their wine production, it is the future they dedicate themselves to every day. Over two hectares of vineyards, mainly trained according to the Guyot system, frame the farmhouse where on clear days the view extends as far as the Apennines. A rich and mild soil, which gives body and structure to the wines in their various varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Franconia and yellow Moscato. They work the land with the same care and love dedicated to their family. From the first pruning during the harsh winter months to the harvest, the bunches grow and are harvested manually to preserve the fruit in its integrity.
