The history of the company begins in 1983, the year in which 4 families from different backgrounds, including the Miyakawa family, decide to buy Bulichella. The initial project is to live a life experience in harmony with the local social fabric and with the surrounding environment. The choice, pioneering at the time, was to run the company according to the philosophy of organic farming. The company was the first to obtain organic certification in the area and among the first in Italy. They produce wine and extra virgin olive oil by continuing the crops that were traditionally grown on the farm, aided in the choice by the vocation of the farm land for these crops. In 1999 Hideyuki Miyakawa and his wife Marisa Bassano became the sole owners of the estate; together with their children they make fine wines, engaged in the promotion of the area together with the Val Di Cornia Consortium until the recognition of the DOCG Suvereto, obtained in 2012. The commitment now continues with the Consorzio di Tutela DOP Suvereto and Val di Cornia Wine.
