Cantina Rapinzeri is a project born in 2018 but deeply wanted and grown in 60 years of dedication to viticulture by the family. The farm is located in Santa Ninfa (TP), a few steps from the ancient Castle of Rampinzeri or “Rapinzeri” in Sicilian. The corporate brand evokes and refers to the iconographic presence of the castle, the identity symbol of the area and, at the same time, deviates from it by creating an exclusive and modern symbol. The synergy between old and new is also and above all evident from the choice of cultivated vines, which, although mostly allochthonous, manage to embrace the most authentic traditions and potential of the territory. The place is rich in pedoclimatic characteristics that are advantageous for obtaining unique products of their kind. In fact, the vineyards extend over the chalky soils of the gentle slopes around the farm, at an altitude of about 540 metres above sea level, subject to strong temperature variations. These peculiarities allow the optimal achievement of the varietal and organoleptic properties of the individual cultivars, combined with the careful use of cultivation practices that respect nature and accurate winemaking techniques.
