Description: The grapes come from a selection of vineyards in the area of Paternopoli (AV) Contrada Casale at a height of about 500 metres above sea level, a very clayey soil with a good amount of limestone. The municipality is located in the Taurasi production area and has the highest vineyards where the Aglianico is harvested very late and manages to express all its power, finesse, and great ageing potential.
