Description: It derives from a skilful blend of Merlot and Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand. After a soft pressing and a long maceration in vitrified cement vats with careful pumping over and temperature controls, the wine rests for at least 12 months in French oak barrels and for another 4 months in the bottle. The intense and deep ruby red colour combines with a persistent aroma of red fruit and spices. In the mouth, the light tannins blend with a harmonious and pleasant aftertaste.
