Bouquet: articulated and ample; Mediterranean scrub and potpourri intertwine with boisé flavours of tobacco, chocolate, liquorice, rhubarb, pepper, coffee and sandalwood. In the mouth: the sip is sumptuous, endowed with warmth and softness, calibrated by a persuasive freshness, well balanced by an embroidered and tasty tannin. Very persistent, refined and flowing finish. A great wine evolving over decades.
