Description: This is the noble wine of Valtellina. Carefully selected Nebbiolo grapes are left to dry in the fruttaio for 100-120 days in the autumn-winter climate. This is followed by crushing and a slow, long fermentation in contact with the skins to enhance aroma, body, and extract. Then, aging for more than 2 years in oak barrels and further refinement in the bottle for another 12 months.
