The idea for Mu was born in 2019, when Andrea first approached Turin Vermouth and decided to create her own interpretation. In Zen Buddhism, the term “Mu” means the absence of something. Mu is meant to be an invitation to carve out an “empty” space for oneself. This philosophy is also reflected in the choice of botanicals: some of the herbs used come from the organic farm La Calcina, an idyllic place that can only be reached on foot.
