Since 1884, the Landini company in Fabbrico has been at the forefront of innovation in the agricultural industry. In 1910, Giovanni Landini created the first fixed “Hot Head” engine, followed in 1925 by the introduction of the first agricultural tractor, the Landini 25/30 HP. The partnership with Perkins Engines in 1956 and the acquisition by Massey Ferguson in 1959 further solidified its position in the market. In 1977, Landini introduced the “Large” Series featuring tractors with over 100 HP and dual traction capabilities. Throughout the 1980s, the company expanded its product line to include tractors designed specifically for orchards and vineyards. In 1994, the Morra family assumed control of the company, leading to a threefold increase in production by 1997. The launch of the Mistral range in 1998 marked Landini’s entry into the compact tractor segment. Since 2000, Landini has continued to innovate, renewing its product range for tractors ranging between 50 and 100 horsepower, thereby consolidating its position in the international market.
