La Jara have been producing organic wines in the Prosecco DOC region for over 20 years. This family-run winery is specialized in the production of high quality wines, resulting from the combination of organic viticulture and an avant-garde winemaking process. The Marion family has been taking care of the vineyards of La Jara since 1891, while today the farm is managed by Massimo and Paolo Marion who have been running it since 1999 with renewed enthusiasm. Massimo has brought in his innovative character, completely revolutionizing the processing techniques and switching to the organic method. The terroir of the vineyards of La Jara features a unique character: the soil is made up of white stones and smooth limestone of the Piave river that accumulate heat during the day and return it slowly at night. It is thanks to this unique conformation of the soil that the grapes give fresh and varietal aromas, resulting in a wine with a complex and varied bouquet of fruity and floral aromas. The goal is to obtain organic wines respecting the earth and nature through authentic flavours and aromas.
