La Fornase is a winery run by young people working hard on the sustainability, quality and wholesomeness of the product. Their vineyards are located in Pasiano di Pordenone, Azzano Decimo, Meduna di Livenza. Since 2012 they have been certified both in the vineyard and in the cellar as an organic farm, cultivating without the use of herbicides, desiccants, synthetic chemical pesticides and using elements found in nature such as sulphur, copper, essential oils extracted from plants. Today they produce and bottle several types of wine, such as Prosecco DOC type brut, extra dry, rose’, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Franc, Merlot Piwi, Friulano, Pinot Noir. The agronomist supervises the vegetative state of the plant, guiding the interventions with the aim of obtaining a balanced and healthy product, which responds to high quality values. At his side, the oenologist defines the grapes and follows their maturation by deciding the most suitable moment for the harvest and processing of the grapes.
