Six years ago, a small but serious haskap fruit wine industry was launched in the heart of green Europe, in the only country in the world containing the word LOVE, Slovenia. With the assistance of top oenologists, top-quality fruit wines such as table, barrique, and sparkling wines were successfully produced. Wine experts regard the haskap fruit as the closest thing to grapes. The fruits are cultivated in Slovenia without the addition of any chemical fertilizers, and the wines hold an eco certificate.
