These wineries have a vision in common: the enhancement of native vines (primarily the Schioppettino di Prepotto) and quality viticulture with respect for the environment. Spolert Winery has been producing wines for over 50 years. The recent change of ownership has perfected the style and quality of the products; sustainability is the daily mantra. The wines feature long ageing in concrete, amphorae and casks: Schioppettino di Prepotto, Ribolla Gialla, Friulano and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. Orlando e Didonè are winemakers, a neologism representing the result of a life of research, work and love for the land. Vineyards date back in some cases to the 60s; the land is the “Ponca”. The wines are: Friulano, Pinot Grigio “Ramato”, Merlot and Schioppettino di Prepotto. Pitticco is the farm of Sergio Pitticco who, since 2018, has decided to bring the family passion for red wines to Prepotto; in the hilly vineyard only natives are grown. The soil (100% Ponca) and the long ageing in French oak help to pursue the structure and elegance of the wines: Schioppettino di Prepotto, Rosso Riserva “Migale”, Tazzelenghe Riserva “Serika”, Schioppettino Selezione Riserva “Minò”.
