A unique event, full of novelties, promising to be an unmissable opportunity to discover the best in the industry
Best Wine Stars, recently recognized as a National Fair by the Lombardy Region, and with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, is set to celebrate gastronomic excellence with its sixth edition. From May 17 to 19, Palazzo del Ghiaccio will transform into the vibrant heart of the wine, spirits, and food industries, featuring over oltre 1.200 labelsfrom around the world.
The event, taking place over three days, will offer a rich program of activities and will welcome the participation of producers, international buyers, experts, and enthusiasts. With themed areas, such as: the Italian Wine Area, International Wine Area, Bio Area, Spirits Area and Food Area, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in walk-around tastings and network with producers and professionals, creating an immersive experience to discover the sector’s innovations and traditions.
The masterclasses, held in the charming Sala Piranesi, represent a unique opportunity for professional development and interaction among producers, buyers, the press, and enthusiasts. They will be hosted by writer, digital storyteller, sommelier, and entrepreneur Adua Villa, alongside an excellent line-up of speakers, including:
- Mattia Asperti, sommelier and creator of the community Il Sommelier Divino
- Alessio Cannata, food communication strategist and journalist at Linkiesta Gastronomika
- Chiara Giannotti, wine expert and communicator, creator of Vino.Tv, collaborator and taster for the Essential Wines Guide of Doctorwine, author of La Cantina Perfetta of Rizzoli
- Giambattista Marchetto, wine journalist and editor of Vinonews24
- Francesco Quarna, Radio Deejay speaker and winemaker

Alongside them, the spirits expertFabio Bacchi, founder of BarTales and Roma Bar Show, will lead a Tasting Room dedicated to the world of bitters titled: Amari & Amari.The New Challenge of Italian Bitter: Identity and Innovation.

- Sake: The Japanese Rice Nectar
Masterclass organized by the Sake Sommelier Association
In this masterclass, you will discover the sake, the Japanese rice-based drink that is winning over Italian palates. We will explore its history, production process and aromatic profiles, highlighting its versatility in both Japanese and Italian cuisine. The Sake Sommelier Association, alongside the experts from the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium, will guide us through a journey of surprising pairings and delightful discoveries.

With the support of Danitacom (Italian Chamber of Commerce in Denmark) and the Thai Italian Chamber of Commerce, the sixth edition will see the participation of international buyers from Northern Europe and Southeast Asia, who will meet exhibitors for new business opportunities.
