Since he was a child, Giulio followed his grandfather on the vineyards, watched him work and listened to his stories. So in 2014, he decided to continue what his Argentine grandfather, known as Perge, had started many years earlier and began to care for his land with love. In addition to the vines, Giulio also cultivates the passion handed down to him by his father Massimo: wine. He learned the technique from him and perfected it, up to the production of what is now considered his signature: the “wine with bottom” (from Glera grapes and refermented in the bottle). Thanks to his tenacity and determination and the precious help of his brother Giorgio, he managed to make his dream come true: in fact, in 2021 the DARIVA winery was founded. DARIVA is the essence of this farm. It is the family surname bearing within it what is most characteristic of this territory: the shores, the UNESCO heritage hills where Prosecco is born. To date, the farm has 3 lines of wines; the fourth is in production and will be ready to be marketed in late spring.
