It all began in 1932 when grandfather Franco (born in 1906) arrived at the original farmstead of the present Casale, as a humble ‘sharecropper’ for the noble Parere family. Even before the birth of his sons, Marco (1933) and Fernando (1937), grandfather Franco expanded the scope of his work and, in agreement with the property, initiated the planting of the first vines on the land, laying the foundations of the winemaking reality that still exists today, now in its third generation, with Franco (born in 1968).
