Their story began back in 1895 when Giulio Di Stefano, first a craftsman in Argentina, decided to return to his native land and acquire lands devoted to the cultivation of wheat and vines. Don Giulio, a person of ingenuity and charisma, began to produce enough wine to be exchanged for other goods in the period between the two wars. The story continues in the 90s, when his nephew Giulio and his wife Nunziatina decide to found a modern family-run company following what has always been an art handed down from generation to generation: the production of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo D.O.C., a strong and gentle red, robust and fruity, appreciated by simple amateurs and connoisseurs from all over Europe. Quality: the Cantine Di Stefano project was born from this word. Their vineyards, located on the hills near the coast, enjoy a happy south-east exposure. The sea breeze caresses their hills and plains, used instead for the production of white wines Pecorino and Trebbiano.
