Cantina di Quistello was founded in 1928, its production area extending along the banks of the Secchia river, in that part of the province of Mantua that boasts ancient wine-growing traditions. The reference vine is Lambrusco Grappello Ruberti, which has its roots here and from which the most renowned productions are obtained. Other Lambruscos also express unique characteristics that make the Cantina di Quistello the bulwark of the most prestigious Lambrusco Mantovani. The farm’s commitment to the renewal action both in production and in the relationship with consumers is strong, certainly not a novelty but a path followed for over thirty years. The watchword is “healthiness” in the management of the vineyards through the use of techniques based on respect for the environment and the consumer i.e. aimed at obtaining grapes with the lowest content of chemical residues. Another value of the cooperative is the ethical one at 360 degrees involving the actors of the supply chain directly and indirectly. Today we talk about a sustainable farm and a sustainable product: Cantina di Quistello is in fact certified according to the Equalitas Sustainability Standard.
