Verdicchio has accompanied the family for three centuries, when their ancestors settled in the territory of Cingoli, the Balcony of the Marche. Thus began the production of wine which was handed down until 1970, when Dario Bacelli decided to renew the old vineyards and plant new ones. In 2005 the farm then passed to his son Giovanni, who paved the way for the first bottling of Monte Circe in 2010. Since then, new vineyards have been planted, reaching an area of 7 hectares, investing in modern technology and in the new structure of the cellar. However, the ancient spirit of the ancestors is preserved, by personally taking care of the vines, working among the rows only by hand and, during the harvest, selecting every single bunch which will then go into the bottles, thus maintaining the right balance between innovation and tradition, with particular attention to the reduction of emissions and the natural preservation of the land. It is essential for the activity and wine tourism which, through private tastings, allow to make known their history and one of the food and wine symbols of the Marche in Italy and in the world.
