BEST WINE STARS INCLUDES:

100,000 invitations will be sent to buyers, distributors, sommeliers, restaurateurs, wine shop owners, cocktail bars, mixologists, journalists, bloggers, and wine enthusiasts. Industry professionals will have free access upon accreditation, and all visitors will be identifiable with a pass allowing exhibitors to make direct contact with both professionals and final consumers.

They provide a unique opportunity for companies to distinguish themselves and directly engage with a qualified audience. Led by industry experts, these sessions offer an in-depth educational and tasting experience, making them ideal for showcasing products to a consistently sold-out crowd of professionals and enthusiasts.

During the event, each exhibitor can sell their products to interested visitors and also get in touch with importers, distributors, and Horeca professionals to create new business opportunities.

Opportunity to compete for the prestigious BWS Awards, including Best Sparkling Wine, Best White Wine, Best Red Wine, Best Rosé Wine, Best Spirit, Best Herbal Liqueur, Best Logo, and Best Label, with new categories such as Best Green Project, Best Hospitality Project, and Best Vinum Innovation.

Our press office will oversee the project’s dissemination for 12 months. This includes writing and distributing press releases related to the Best Wine Stars 2025 initiative. We will also supply magazines with graphic and textual materials, categorized by type, to facilitate journalist access for publication. Additionally, all content, photos, captions, and press reviews will be available for download in the website’s press area.

The event will also receive promotion through social networks and the web. An editorial plan will be developed, encompassing various communication strategies, including creating anticipation for the event with product highlights, collaborating with industry influencers, and running sponsored campaigns. Additionally, in partnership with the free press publication MI Tomorrow, a special paper guide will be distributed in 50,000 copies at major subway stops, railway stations, and airports. This guide will feature event details, the names of participating companies, and provide space for interviews and insights.

BWS PLATFORM

BWS Events is Best Wine Stars’ new platform, designed and built to manage the event and facilitate the meeting between exhibitors and buyers.

On the platform, you will find: LOGO – COMPANY HISTORY – WINE TYPE. It will be possible to consult the list of buyers accredited to the event and receive appointment requests from interested industry professionals.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

1. Essential Event Information: Provides access to key information such as the masterclasses and talk schedule, list of speakers, profiles of participants, partners, and buyers, keeping everyone constantly updated.

2. Agenda Management: Users can efficiently plan their appointments and activities during the event.

3. Networking and Matchmaking: The platform allows participants to easily connect, fostering meaningful and lasting connections.

4. Event Map: The map of the event venue and exhibiting desks facilitates visits and enhances the overall experience for participants.

BWS VILLAGE

An area furnished exclusively for press and trade professionals visiting the event will be available. Participating wine and spirits companies have the option to showcase a selection of their products, limited to a maximum of 18 bottles, within the Village.

Tasting kits will be curated, containing complimentary samples of these products, along with the contact information of the respective producing companies. These kits will be distributed free of charge to selected visitors.

Recipients of the kits will have the opportunity to explore the labels they receive for a deeper understanding of the participating companies. The inclusion of direct contacts for the producers aims to encourage journalists to feature these companies and industry professionals to initiate new collaborations.

This presents an excellent opportunity for enhanced visibility and networking.

The Village will also prominently display the logos of the participating companies, maximizing advertising space on the balcony banner.

BWS BUSINESS DINNER

Best Wine Stars in 2023 crossed the borders of Palazzo del Ghiaccio bringing companies and their products to the centre of Milan with the “Best Wine Stars Business Dinner” project. The new format, which took place inside the elegant and welcoming Milanese lounge SIX Milano, was an excellent opportunity to present and tell selected journalists and industry professionals about the excellence of each individual company, combining them with dishes specially designed for each label. All to create a unique moment of confrontation and dialogue, in the exclusivity of the Milanese panorama.
