Azienda Agricola Riparbello is located in the Tuscan countryside, between the cities of Siena and Florence and the farm dates back to the thirteenth century. Until the 1950s, the village was inhabited by 9 peasant families, who over the years have moved towards the towns. In 1981 the Beiwinkel family bought the farm and started producing wine and extra virgin olive oil. Manfred Beiwinkel was one of the ambassadors of organic farming, which he started practising already in the late 80s. The Beiwinkel family, of German origin, has been running the farm for 43 years now. In 2022 Manfred passed the baton to his son Claudio. Currently they cultivate about 6 hectares of vineyards and a thousand olive trees. Their goal is to convey the uniqueness of their territory through their products, mostly cultivating native varieties that have settled in the Chianti countryside over the centuries. The grapes are vinified in their small cellar and produce 8 different labels.
