The Ferrari Giacomo farm started the wine business after 2010, planting the ancient “Moscatello di Taggia” vine in the places where this precious nectar was already produced hundreds of years ago. Thanks to their experience in the agricultural field, they manage their vineyards with environmentally friendly methods combined with winemaking techniques aimed at maximizing the aromas and quality. The vineyards are located in the Municipality of Terzorio, where Moscatello di Taggia was already being grown in the 16th century. The Ferrari family has put into cultivation lands particularly suited to the growth of this vine, as they lie on the terraced hills typical of the Riviera ligure, at an average altitude of 300 m above sea level, with exposure to the south, south-east and west. The lands have been recovered from almost a century of abandonment and are free from all forms of pollution. All this makes it possible to obtain a blend that enhances the particularity of this vine, guaranteeing the quality of the product.
