In 1990, with his father, they began an experiment with the Tuscany Region involving collaboration with agronomists from the Research Center for Viticulture in Arezzo, to test the adaptation of non-native grape varieties to the Elban terroir. In 2016, they started the renovation of ancient terraces that in the 19th century adorned the hills of Elba, recreating over half a kilometer of dry stone walls. Over the years, they have been committed to working on quality through numerous experiments.
