Archè originates from the desire to share the traditional taste of an ancient family recipe with the market. The main ingredient of their product is mandarin. They have chosen to use the “late” one, an endemic variety of Sicily characterized by a strong aroma and a high sugar content, as well as a very thin skin. Following a formula handed down for generations, their liqueur is obtained from the infusion of Sicilian mandarin peel and returns all the taste and aroma of the fruits grown in the sun of Trinacria giving an explosion of freshness to the palate. In addition to the liqueur, they also produce mandarin jams, making 100% use of the raw material and eliminating production waste. The term archè in Greek means the principle, the origin. With this name they wanted to recall the primacy of the mandarin which, together with the grapefruit and the citron, is one of the three original citrus fruits from which all the others descend. The Greek term also refers to the classical origins of the culture of their territory symbolizing the sense of tradition found in their product.
