La Beccio e Viotti originates from an idea by Giancarlo Beccio, originally from Monferrato, and Mario Viotti, from Borgosesia. At a young age, Giancarlo, who had moved to Valsesia to start a butcher shop, immediately understood that his true passion was wine, a passion he shared with his friend Mario. In 1964, the two friends started a business to market wine, eventually beginning production only a few years later, using primarily quality grapes harvested in Monferrato.
